Your documents stay on your device. NeuroRead processes PDFs and text entirely in your browser. We do not upload, store, or have access to the content of your documents.

3. Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

• Account Information: Email address, name (if provided via Google sign-in)
• Usage Statistics: Reading speed, XP earned, levels, streaks (for gamification)
• Payment Information: Processed securely by our payment provider (Dodo Payments). We do not store credit card details.
• Technical Data: Browser type, device type (for analytics and troubleshooting)

4. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To sync your progress across devices (if you opt-in)
• To improve the Service based on usage patterns
• To send important updates about your account

5. Data Storage

Your reading progress and preferences are stored:

• Locally: In your browser's IndexedDB (always available, even offline)
• Cloud (optional): In Supabase (encrypted) for cross-device sync

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Authentication and database (EU/US servers)
• Dodo Payments: Payment processing
• Google OAuth: Optional sign-in method

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support.
