Legal Terms
Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 September 2026
These are the terms between you and NeuroSprint for using the reader at getneurosprint.com and the NeuroSprint Reader browser extension. They are written in plain English on purpose. Using the service means you agree to them; if you do not, please do not use it.
The service
NeuroSprint is a web application for reading text and PDF documents with a guided pacer and related reading tools, and for checking what you understood through recall rounds, AI-graded explanations and diagrams. It also includes NeuroSprint Reader, a browser extension for reading web pages. “The service” means all of these together.
The service is operated by DreamGrid (“we”, “us”). These terms are the agreement between you and DreamGrid.
Most of the service works without an account and keeps your documents in your browser. Our Privacy Policy explains what is stored where; it forms part of these terms.
Not a medical device
NeuroSprint is reading software. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, manage or prevent any condition. Nothing in the service is medical advice, and the service is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
Accounts
An account is optional. You can create one with Google or with a sign-in link sent to your e-mail address. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping access to your e-mail address and Google account secure, and for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@getneurosprint.com if you think someone else is using it.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → “Delete my account” in the app. That removes your server-side data, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Use the service for reading and studying. Do not:
- break, probe or overload the service, or try to get around limits, plan restrictions or security measures;
- use automated tools to call the AI features or otherwise access the service other than through the interface we provide;
- resell, sublicense or share a paid account, or use one account for several people;
- use the AI features to generate content that is unlawful, or to try to extract our prompts or models;
- load content you do not have the right to use (see the next section); or
- use the leaderboard nickname to impersonate someone or to harass anyone.
Your content
The documents you open, the text you paste, the answers you write and the diagrams you make are yours. We claim no ownership of them. Where content is sent to us for an AI action or synced to your account, you give us permission to process it only as far as needed to provide the feature you asked for, as described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having the right to load and use the documents you bring to the service. Reading material you own or are licensed to read is fine; the service must not be used to infringe anyone’s rights.
AI features and fair use
Grading of “Explain it back” answers, the questions written for it on Pro, and diagrams are produced by an AI model. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or misleading. It is a study aid to help you check your own understanding, not professional, legal, medical, financial or academic advice, and you should not rely on it as such. You remain responsible for how you use it.
An AI action is one graded answer, one generated diagram or, on Pro, one set of questions written for a round of “Explain it back”. The service includes fair-use limits on AI actions:
- Free, with a free account: 3 AI actions per week.
- Pro subscriptions (monthly or yearly): up to 30 AI actions a day.
- Lifetime: up to 10 AI actions a day.
These limits exist to keep the service affordable for everyone. We may adjust them, and may suspend AI access for an account, to prevent abuse or automated use. Self-grading, in which you compare your own answer with the passage, is not counted and is always available.
Plans, billing and renewals
The Free plan costs nothing. Pro is a paid plan whose features and prices are shown on the pricing section at the time you buy. Pro is sold either as a subscription (monthly, or yearly where offered) or as a one-time Lifetime purchase.
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo Payments is the seller of record for your purchase, handles your payment details, and applies any taxes due at checkout. Your purchase is also subject to Dodo Payments’ terms.
On your bank or card statement the charge appears as Dodo Payments or as DreamGrid, the company that operates NeuroSprint. If you see a charge you do not recognise, write to support@getneurosprint.com before asking your bank to reverse it: we can find it and refund it faster than a dispute can.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price then in force for your plan, until you cancel. If we change the price of a subscription, we will tell you by e-mail at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
Cancelling
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account or by e-mailing support@getneurosprint.com. Cancelling stops future renewals. Your Pro access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then your account returns to the Free plan. Nothing in your library is deleted when a plan ends; features beyond the Free plan simply become unavailable.
Refunds
Your first purchase is covered by a 14-day refund. If you buy Pro for the first time and it is not for you, e-mail support@getneurosprint.com within 14 days of the purchase and we will refund it in full; no reason is needed. The refund is issued through Dodo Payments to the original payment method.
Renewals and later purchases are not refundable, except where the law where you live gives you a right to a refund, which these terms do not limit.
Lifetime plan
“Lifetime” means for the lifetime of the product: for as long as NeuroSprint is offered, with no further payments. It is not a promise that the product will exist forever, and it is not transferable to another person. The Lifetime plan includes the Pro features and AI actions up to the Lifetime fair-use limit in section 6. If we ever discontinue NeuroSprint, we will give Lifetime customers at least 90 days’ notice.
Our intellectual property
The service, its design, code, text, name and marks belong to NeuroSprint or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service under these terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer the service beyond what applicable law allows.
Availability
We work to keep the service available and correct, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind beyond those the law requires. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate. We may change, add or remove features, and we may take the service down for maintenance.
Your documents live in your browser. Please keep your own copies; we cannot recover data that only ever existed on your device.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, NeuroSprint is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or opportunity, arising from your use of the service or from reliance on AI output. Our total liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or, if you paid nothing, to zero.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account as described in section 3. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why, unless the breach makes immediate action necessary. If we close a paid account for a breach, we do not owe a refund for the remaining period. If we end the service or a paid plan for any other reason, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. When we do, we will change the date at the top, and for a change that affects your rights or your plan we will tell account holders by e-mail at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can cancel and, where a change is to your detriment, ask for a refund of the unused part of a prepaid period.
Applicable law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at DreamGrid’s place of establishment, without depriving you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws in the country where you live. If a dispute arises, please write to us first; most problems can be solved by e-mail.
